My name is Joan and I have been happily married for over eleven years and have two beautiful and very energetic girls. We also have one indoor cat. I enjoy caring for children in my home, while helping them learn, grow, play and have fun! Fireflies Childcare offers the best home care setting and transition phase for your child. Parents be assured that your child will be in a secure, lovable and protected environment.
I also believe that developing their education at an early age can be accomplished in a fun and creative way. Therefore, Fireflies Childcare has adopted and follows the Berry Best Preschool Program and curriculum and is listed as a provider on the State of Texas Department of Family and Protective Services website.
I have eleven years of medical experience, am certified in adult-child-infant CPR, have taken child courses and am currently pursuing my CDA credential. Letters of recommendation can be provided at your request.
